Brief Information

This blog presents about the regional ministers' conference held in Myitkyina. It is the annual gathering of church leaders in the region. Upon the invitation, Rev. Thangsan was there as a conference speaker for two consecutive years (2005-6). Though audio-record is not available, please, take a view some photo records of the event.

Myitkyina is the capital of Kachin State and the very center-place for the northeastern part of Myanmar. It is quiet a big city, located at the very scenic meeting place of the two twin rivers, called Maykha and Maylikha, to form the big Irrawady river, the biggest river in the country, and which was known as the source of life in ancient agricultural Burman society.
